The romance of Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party is not over yet. It was decided that both the parties should take the friendship together despite the alliance leading to a disastrous poll campaign in the Recent elections. Cabinet Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and BJP Leader Lakshman met TDP President Chandrababu Naidu a short while ago and discussed on various issues of the Telangana state.
They have decided to contest the upcoming Corporation and Cantonment Elections together. Telugu Desam Party has also agreed to support BJP's MLC candidate of Graduates Quota. It was primarily agreed that both the parties should fight together in and outside the Assembly on the issues pertaining to the people of the newest state of the country.
BJP Telangana State President Kishan Reddy who has fully opposed to the alliance with TDP during the last elections is absent for this meeting. Kishan Reddy has to heed to the decision of high command for both the general elections and the recent Medak bypoll. And it may be the case with the upcoming elections too. GHMC region has a good base of settler voters and BJP do not want to take risk by leaving out TDP which has very good image in them.
