HRD Minister Smriti Irani said that proposed land for establishing Tribal University in Vizaianagaram district was not meet the standards. TDP MLAs and Minister Mrinalini took this challenge and are in search for another alternative in the district. They appealed to the Chief Minister CBN many times to establish the Tribal University in the district. TDP MLAs under the leadership of Mrinalini visited the lands in the district. TDP leaders decided not to miss the Tribal University from the district. Mrinalini ordered the district collector to prepare the report on availability of lands in the district for Tribal University to send to the Chief Minister. CBN was announced the University to the Vizainagaram district soon after the Union Government approved. After rejecting the land in Paachipenta Mandal by the Central Committee, TDP MLAs are in search for huge acres of land in their respective segments. There are around 750 acres in Vizainagaram Segment, 1400 acres in Nellimarla and 1600 acres of land in Kothavalasa Mandal. They brought to the notice of Chief Minister CBN and Central Committee will visit after December 20th again in the district. Mrinalini said that three places are identified in the district.
