Well, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu along with his cabinet finally decided to shock drunkards by hiking prices of beers and the foreign liquor products.
It seems the hike will be upto Rs 10 per bottle and this could bring down the sales to a larger extent claimed few analysts. However, this can bring good revenue to the state.
This decision was actually pending when AP was united and finally came into force now. It seems the excess amount is taken in the form of excise duty charges.
This will be officially implemented soon and the excise duty officers already made it official. So, what do you think? Is this hike to increase the funds to the AP state govt.?
