This is definitely a relief news to the government of Andhra Pradesh and the people. Even though Chandrababu and his team put many efforts to get the rightful help form the Centre, the Centre was always unwilling to come up to do financial help. Vizag turns really lucky and the people will surely be happy about the news of the help given by the World Bank.

It is said that the World Bank has finally agreed to help $114 Million to Vizag in order to replace the over head power supply cables with the underground laying of the power cables. After the Hudhud cyclone hit Vizag, this plan was thought by the AP government. to replace all overhead Power supply cables with underground cable network.

This underground laying is done inorder to protect the power network incase of any natural calamity. The PFC Consulting Limited has been given the project to design and give a detailed report about this. The Central government's permission is required.

However, if there is any natural disaster the there is a huge loss that is taking place and the state is unable to bear it due to the insufficient funds to the government. So, as a permanent solution these power cables are laid underground. So, being a great push to this project, the World Bank granted $144 million.
