Mahesh Babu's 'Srimanthudu' conveyed a hard-hitting message as everyone must adopt a village. Mahesh himself stood as an example and he adopted two villages. He adopted one from Andhra Pradesh and another one from Telengana.
Chandrababu Naidu also launched a new scheme
Chandrababu Naidu also launched a new scheme in similar way and named it as 'Smart Village - Smart Ward'. After introducing this scheme he said,"Adopt villages and develop them. Don’t expect funds from government for development. Instead mobilize funds of your own or on your own with your efforts."
Chandrababu Naidu himself adopted a village and he has done nothing for past 10 months and recently he started to do some development. But he has never done anything with his funds. He has used Public's money.
First of all he issued a GO and released 5
Crores for roads. The issue was cleared within few hours. Naidu use public
funds for developing his ‘adopted village’ but he preaches others to use their
own money for developing other villages.
