YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a lengthy letter to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu explaining the reasons why he wouldn’t be coming to the grand capital city launch at Amaravati in AP. Jagan also said openly that he doesn’t even need any invitation.
This statement is apt given the opposition to the capital proposal made by Babu earlier. Jagan had been opposing it on the pretext that a concrete jungle would come in the place of current green cover and highly fertile agricultural fields.
But again in the future, if Assembly comes up here before 2019 elections itself or even if Jagan becomes CM in the same year, what about all the investments and efforts at Amaravati. This is now the point of discussion for YSRCP leaders.
However others dismiss saying that taking U-turn is in the DNA of our political leaders. They cite numerous examples of KCR and Naidu in the last one and half year of their rule. Jagan would be proudly entering the same capital then, if he is made CM, the sole ambition of his life, according to his party leaders!
