D.Srinivas, once seen as heavyweight in Congress, having served as PCC chief twice and also a person brought Congress twice to power in Undivided AP has completely been forced to take a back seat after he joined the TRS.
There are reports DS is completely upset with the TRS party leadership as they have been sidelining him after giving promises of moon and the stars when he had quit Congress, a party to which he remained loyal to for several decades.
TRS chief and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao earlier appointed DS as a special advisor to Telangana government regarding inter-state affairs with a cabinet rank after he joined the TRS few months ago. But when Chandrababu Naidu recently visited KCR at his camp office in Begumpet, DS was missing.
There are reports that DS was deeply hurt since KCR didn’t call him to his camp office when Naidu visited inspite of he being advisor of inter-state affairs, a subject that would be dealt by him. DS is now maintaining fill distance from TRS party after Amaravathi episode since he wasn’t taken there. Will he make a comeback to Congress soon?
