Telangana JAC Chairman Kodandaram a very active and in fact the key participant in Telangana movement, has remained aloof from politics after the formation of separate state. He was among those who stayed away from mainstream politics, vowing to be a watchdog.

Now he is all set to prove that he is a man of words, if reports are to be believed. Even though he has been more or less averse to many of the TRS government policies, Kodandaram has refrained from openly attacking or strongly criticizing the TRS government.

But Kodandaram finally has now taken one major political or a kind of legal step. He has reportedly filed a complaint with Telangana State Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) that the MOU forged with Chhattisgarh over the Power Purchases will severely damage the state and demanded that it should be reviewed.

Just before the crucial Warangal by-elections, JAC leaders like Kodandaram, Rajendra Reddy and Raghu had met ERC over this issue which will definitely trouble the ruling party. Many prominent experts have also been saying that Telangana will be at the losing end because of the faulty agreement.
