CLP leader K Jana Reddy has recently fired salvos at Telangana’s CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday. This is in response to KCR's recent remarks against him that was unleashed at the Warangal by poll campaign during Tuesday, wherein he said that Jana had used "Telangana issue" as a form of weapon for his self political growth.
Jana countered that it was indeed KCR who had used Telangana issue for serving his selfish political interests and also those including his family members. He alleged that KCRonly established TRS in 2001 when he was denied a minister post by Chandrababu Naidu led TDP government in 2000.
He added that if Naidu gave a minister post for KCR then a party called TRS would have never happened even to this day. Jana also averred that it was only because of pressure that was brought up by Telangana Congress leaders, the Congress high command had actually agreed for bifurcation of United AP state.
He also said that TRS leaders should know how even though such separatist movements had continued in Jammu and Kashmir and Assam for several decades since, the Congress government handled them with an iron hand and that it was not a difficult thing for Congress party to control the Telangana statehood agitation that was taken up by a small time party namely TRS.
