Later he spoke about Indira Gandhi and her services rendered to the nation. He said how she worked for the downtrodden. He said Indira Gandhi worked hard to uplift the poor people in the society by introducing a 20-point programme, nationalisation of banks and introducing land reforms.

Those programmes benefited the poor people and there has been a reformation in socio-economic conditions. Finally he ended the speech by criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Modi is right now trying to defame Indira Gandhi by abolishing all the schemes introduced by her for the good of poor and needy.

He also requested NDA Government to restore Gandhiji's name on the institutions which were established during Indira Gandhi's tenure. During this event, Former MLA Malladi Vishnu and Devineni Nehur were present.
