Andhra Pradesh government had recently bagged massive a central funding of 1.93 Lakh houses in the state which equaled 2897 Crore. This is reportedly more than 75% of what was Center’s allotment to this ambitious scheme.
Telangana had only managed over 10000 houses and now Telangana leaders have started foul crying about what they say is that Center has been favouring AP. But the facts prove that there was a perfect home work done by AP government which had made this possible.
When the Center announced the flagship Housing for All scheme, sources say that the AP government had formed two committees and sent proposals to the concerned central government departments. But Telangana didn’t respond on time to this, according to sources.
Here even concerned minister Venkaiah Naidu had played a key role in ensuring that South gets good advantage. Andhra Pradesh is definitely at a good edge regarding this scheme which would have otherwise been a burden for the state reeling under revenue deficit!
