Well senior Telugu Desam Party
leader and also its politburo member Mothkupally Narsimhulu seem to have given
up hopes over getting the gubernatorial post of Governor, as earlier promised
by its party president and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
Apparently,
the news is that Naidu’s recommendation of Mothkupally’s candidate was kept
aside by the Narendra Modi government. He has also refrained from making any
controversial political comments lately so that can maintain some dignity which
would make him worthy of a Governor.
It is
only based on these hopes, this firebrand leader from Nalgonda didn’t compete
for the party chief post in Telangana. With Centre not evincing any keenness
for the Governor post, Naidu has reportedly instructed him to nurture Alair or
Tungaturthi constituency.
Hence he has become active in party activities again by pursuing the cause of separate Yadagirigutta district for which he would be reportedly launching a paadayatra on November 27 from Alair to Yadadri (Yadagirigutta) as a new district.
