The incessant rains still continue to haunt Tamil Nadu people. Schools and Colleges in parts of Tamil Nadu remain closed. Chennai is still facing rain threat as the downpour happens without any break. Government is also taking no steps in order to reduce the risk factor.


Now we hear that flood waters has entered the Government General Hospital at Chrompet. A medical official said, "We are using motor pumps to flush out the flood water, the work is on continuously. However, since the rain continues, there is no let up in inflow too."


When asked how much parts are affected he said, "Not all the portions were affected by water. Some extent on the ground level has been submerged by the water. But still our services to people are not affected. Patients in the ward are shifted to a safer place without water logs." However patients are struggling as they are unable to walk with those swamps. Ramananan who is the director of Meteorological department said,


"Another trough of low pressure at mean sea level lay over Southwest Bay and adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean." As we said earlier, more than five lakh people were indulged in the rescue operation. Right now reports state that around 100,000+ people have lost their homes and were being rescued by the relief camps.
