Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had revealed that he has decided to give the right of the way for his government’s Water Grid Pipeline to pass through his farm house. The farmhouse falls enroute way this plan, but KCR hasn’t altered the plan. He reportedly clarified to the officials that there no one can be an exception to the rules.
Now KCR will allow the pipeline to pass through his Erravelli farmhouse. According to Right of Way law, a water pipeline can be placed under six feet deep in any land. The land owner cannot take up any excavations which disturbs this.
Water Grid Project envisages providing drinking water to every household in Telangana. The state government had planned initially for completion in three years but is now planning to complete within next one and half year.
