Incessant rains have affected day to day lives in Chittoor district in Souther Andhra Pradesh. News channels and media reported that the rains have stopped and the city is back to normal. Around 28 people were dead due to these rains. But people say even though rains have stopped they normal routine life is not back again.

More than 30,000 families were evacuated due to rains and most of the houses were flooded due to rivers over flow. Even Tirupati temple was hit by the rains. District Collector Siddharh Jain said, "We have received rain fall which we have to receive in half of the year. The rains from November 8th to 23rd has caused more devastation.

We are still estimating the loss from Agriculture. But the damage in other sectors itself is more than 200 Crores. Being a smart city, Tirupati should not face flooding. We are trying to slow down the speed of water which flows down the hills of Tirumala onto Tirupati."

Pilgrims have started to visit Tirupati temple and we already reported that 50000 people visited the temple on single day.
