People of Chennai are still worrying as rains and heavy thunderstorms caused more damage to their lives. The sun shine came back and heavy rains has stayed away for past two days. Day to day life activities are slowly back. But once again the drizzling has started.
The Adayar river at Choolaipallam is one of the threatening rivers and with these floods and rains it is even more dangerous. Two boys who wanted to have an adventure went to the river to take bath.
And due to the rushing waters they were also taken away. A police report was filed and they said M Karthik, 14, a resident of Azhagar Samy Koil Street in Vadapalani, and T Arumugam, 12, a resident of Rani Anna Nagar in K K Nagar were swimming with few others in river and they two were washed away in the rushing speed.
Eye witnesses who watched said the boys were caught in a whirlpool and was taken away. The persons who watched it informed the police and rescue personnel took the bodies near Kasi theatre river bank.
