It is common for political parties to distribute freebies during election time. Lots of departments are racing against time to distribute freebies. This includes free fans, mixers and grinders. More than 2 Crore products are being sent to people.
ADMK Government who came to throne on May 2011, never did anything good to people of Tamil Nadu so far. They already announced welfare schemes such as Free laptops to students of Government aided schools, government and government-aided arts and science and engineering colleges and polytechnics to enable them to better their skills.
But none of them were distributed so far. As the election dates are nearing they are rushing to provide things. KT Rajendra Balaji who is the special programme implementation minister said, "We have instructed officials to complete the distribution by November."
The 2016 assembly elections has prepared the ADMK government. As per reports Free fans, mixers and grinders were given to around 2 Crore women and 22 lakh laptopns were given to students.
