Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister is right now worried with incessant rains and right now he is focusing on recovering people from daily mess. Even though funds never came from Government, he himself has arranged the funds. The chief minister is making various announcements each day. 


Now his Government has set a target of constructing 52 lakh toilets in the state in the next four years. The chief Minister while reviewing the Swachch Bharat campaign and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme asked the officials to use the funds from these two programmes to build 52 lakh toilets within next four years. 


The news was confirmed by the state's Information and Public Relations Department. Naidu assured that around 8 lakh toilets will be constructed this year and already 4 lakh toilets were constructed. CM also ordered the officials to complete the target for the current year within month of March. 


He also confessed that the next target is to develop internal roads in villages as cement concrete roads. Out of the total estimated construction of 28,000 kms of cement roads in villages, at present 5,000 kms roads are under-construction at a cost of about Rs.2000 Crores.
