Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandra Babu Naidu is full of surprises. He was upset as the centre never provided funds as immediate relief fund. Now the rains have stopped and the sun shine is back. After lots of requests, just now the centre has sent a person to inspect the losses.

The Chief Minister who doesn't want to trust the centre any more has went to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and has inspected the area. He later ordered the officials to develop some natural water bodies around Tirupathi.

He immediately had a review meeting Chittoor district administration and TTD officials at Sri Padmavati Guest House. During the meeting he stressed the importance of restoring the lakes around Tirupathi.

Naidu while speaking at the meeting said, "There are around one hundred lakes in and around Tirupati. Avilala Cheruvu has a history of over 500 years. We need to preserve them and make it as a picturesque location for the tourists." He ordered The Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) and TTD to take it as a mission.
