Sarve Sathyanarayana who is a former Union Minister and Congress candidate in Warangal parliamentary by-election has demanded an inquiry regarding Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Sathyanarayana has already lost his deposit and he has now said that the ruling TRS party has won the election by manipulating the EVM's according to their favour.
He also said this is clearly not People's verdict. The recently completed Warangal elections went in favour of KCR and the opponents who faced him lost deposit. YSR Congress stood in 5th position.
The results shocked the rest of the parties and it also proved KCR's mettle. The former union minister said, the ruling party was hated by people and it was obvious during the campaign and still how can they win the elections.
He asked the Chief Minister to address a letter to the Election Commission within three days seeking a probe or else he would wage a legal fight against the government. He also said after the inquiry is done if the EVM's were found manipulated, he has asked KCR to resign his post.
