Chennai Floods has caused distress through out Tamil Nadu. Nearly all schools were closed after Diwali. The teachers already expressed that it is tough to complete the portion and make exams. Chief Minister Jayalalitha said the Half yearly exams will be postponed to January.

But now we hear from sources that all schools in Tamil Nadu were ordered to keep two half yearly examinations. Yes, you got that right. 2 Half yearly examinations. The first Half Yearly examination is called as 'Pre Half Yearly' and the exams are starting on December 14th.

The second Half yearly exam is called as Post Half Yearly examination and it will happen in January. Teachers and students are shocked to know this because, due to incessant rains they were trapped like cage birds and now they are asked to complete portions and make students study within few days.

One of the private school teacher said, "We are clueless. We need to teach lessons, conduct exams, evaluate papers and then immediately we need to start another exams too. The Government should know the struggles of teachers. This is going to produce bad results on students."
