Two persons from Hyderabad were arrested for cheating e-commerce giant 'Flipkart'. They have claimed refund of Rs.50,000 by asking for refund for an iPhone even after receiving the product. Police have filed a case. Regarding this fraudulent claim, Inspector P.Balavanthaiah said,

"Two guys named Atul Sharma and Naveen Kumar were arrested following a complaint from the company. Atul has ordered an Apple iPhone 6 which costs Rs.51590 from Flipkart in name of Navin Kumar and he has made payment through credit card.

The phone was also delivered. But the very next day both Atul Sharma and Naveen Kumar complained to Flipkart that the package just had paper and rubber and not the phone.

They demanded the company to provide whole refund amount. The company then conducted an internal inquiry to trace the missing phone, and found that it was in use within Hyderabad limits. Police immediately traced the phone's IMEI number and it clearly led to Atul Sharma.
