Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella came to Hyderabad and spent some time with Chandra Babu Naidu. He also signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). But at the same time there has been huge competition between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regarding the time.
Nadella had a meeting with Andhra Pradesh chief minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and he signed documents with respect to e-services. Naidu also invited him to open an office at Andhra Pradesh. Right now, Microsoft has a huge campus in Hyderabad and Hyderabad is still the joint capital of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The MoU says Microsoft will support Andhra Pradesh in building three proof-of-concept solutions, using Azure Machine Learning and Advanced Visualization lab technology for predictive analysis. At the same time, after the meeting with Naidu, Nadella went to Start up incubator, T-Hub, which is with Telangana Government.
Nadella was accompanied by Vishal Sikka of Infosys and Keerthi Melkote of Anura from the Hewlett Packard group. Telangana IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao said that he discussed lots of services with Nadella which can help small and medium scale industries."
