Each New Year begins on a happy note for most of us. But most youngsters lose their lives for speeding on bikes and falling as prey to these. This is something which everyone should mind each year. This year there are three worst accidents.
By 3am, Armoor road was crowded as a bike rider named Sai ram was died on the spot due to multiple injuries. His friend Ramesh who was in the pillion got more injuries. He was admitted in a nearby hospital. Two other persons lost their lives in two road accidents at Masab Tank and BDL Bhanoor.
But this accident has happened due to drunken driving. But police have ensured that this accident has not happened due to New Year eve. Third one is also a bike accident and police have arrested the bus driver and they registered a case under section 304-a and 337 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
An official said that they have registered 557 cases just on the New Year's eve alone. And among the 557 cases, 576 cases were for drunken driving. The influence of alcohol is sucking up more lives !
