Around 70 Passengers were Offloaded from a Raipur bound IndiGo flight at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. They were offloaded due to their unruly behaviour. But Passengers countered that they were harassed by airline staff. This incident happened between 8.30 and 9pm.
Two passengers who were travelling from Raipur to Hyderabad were trying to exchange seats among themselves. And due to this alteration, there has been a small dispute.
Regarding this Airport Police T.Sudakar said, "The Cabin crew informed the ground staff and the situation got worse. Finally it lead to the extent of offloading of passengers. Passengers however said they were harassed by airline's staff and the flight even took off without handing them their baggage.
But Indigo Airlines said in a statement that, FIR has been lodged with local police on the grounds of unruly behaviour. Airlines also said, When ground staff requested these passengers to cooperate with the crew, they started shouting and they even made some threatening remarks.
