A suspicious bag is found on Pathankot Railway track and it triggered more panic. Immediately there was high alert and bomb squad came to the place immediately. According to reports, the sweepers on Delhi - Pathankotbound Dhauladhar Express train found the bag inside the coach.
It was said that the bag had no attendant and it was simply thrown on the railway tracks. The police official who came to the spot searched the bag with metal detector and said there is nothing suspicious.
He said, the bag nothing inside it as expected. It was just a plain unattended bag. But still for security reasons, Bomb disposal squad was called to the spot. Pathankot senior superintendent of police (SSP) R.K.Bakshi also came to the spot. He said an investigation will be carried with respect to this.
Bomb squad said, with respect to Republic day they were already kept on high alert. Another source said, Soon after the terrorist attacks in Pathankot, high level alert is always kept ready.
