Deeraj Vaithy makes his debut as a director with the movie 'Jil Jung Juck'. Siddarth essays male lead role. The project is based on a short film. As per reports the movie was recommended to Siddarth by Director Karthick Subburaj. This movie will not have a female lead.
Siddharth himself has produced the movie and this is his second production venture after 'Kaadhalil Sothapuvathu Eppadi'. Etaki Entertainment banner funds this movie. Apart from siddharth, Sananth Reddy, Nassar, Avinash Ragudevan, Balaji, Radharavi and RJ Balaji as part of supporting cast.
Technical team features Kurtz Schneider for cuts and Shreyas Krishna for cinematography. Vishal Chandrasekhar has composed music. The movie is releasing on 12th of this month and the movie cleared censors with 'U' certificate. As it got 'U' it became eligible for Tax exemption.
But siddharth said, he won't apply for Tax exemption. He said, "I know the movie can get Tax exemption. I need to explain that 'Jil Jung Juk' means Tamil. We don't have the patience to do those. So we go by the tax route." Recently Udhayanidhi faced similar heat with Tax exemption committee.
