The assault of Tanzanian woman in Bengaluru has became a National issue and most of them lashed out for spoiling the reputation of Bengaluru. But Karnataka Minister has said that it was not a racist attack and it is fallout of an earlier road accident. He also refuted that the woman was stripped by the mob.

Home Minister of Congress ruled state, G.Parameswara Rao told media persons that Police immediately came to the spot and rescued the woman. The Tanzanian student is said to be 21 years old and she was said to be assaulted and stripped by mob on the Outskirts of Bengaluru.

Police have arrested five people in connection with the attack. Bengaluru city police chief said that the woman has already reported that assault and they denied the fact that she was stripped on the streets.

The minister said, "There are more than 10,000 students in Bengaluru and their protection is our duty. These kind of incidents should never happen." Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj meanwhile condemned this.
