It is rather very amusing to see how Congress Party and other opposition leaders have now started demanding the implementation of section 8 in Hyderabad. The demand assumes significance the recent attack on Congress leaders Mahmood Ali and Uttam Kumar Reddy.
It was done openly by Asaduddin and his gang of men in Old City. Uttam Kumar Reddy lamented how goondaism by MIM and by TRS in rest of Hyderabad is a threat. He demanded immediate implementation of Section 8!
Whether it may be Governor’s rule, President’s rule or any other rule, ‘Old City’ has always been hostage to‘MIM rule’ and such incidents there are a part of everyday life since decades. YSR of Congress party openly encouraged and turned a blind eye to Owaisi and his clan’s activities!
The TRS government will definitely not do anything to put MIM on the dock due to electoral compulsions. Unless there is a collective will anti-MIM forces will be chased out of Old City and there will be hooliganism there, period!
