Speculation is increasing on whether Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act will be implemented in Hyderabad soon. This came into highlight once again in the wake of Owaisi brothers of MIM taking law into their hands and attacking all party leaders be it TRS,Congress,BJP and TDP on the GHMC elections polling day.
Now leaders of Congress,TDP and YSRDP met and demanded for imposition of Section 8 in Hyderabad. They already met Governor of two states Narasimhan and are planning to fly to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee and also Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Demand for section 8 came sometime back in cash for vote scam involving TDP leader Revanth Reddy. Once section 8 is implemented law and order will come under Governor's control.
TRS from the beginning has been opposing it but with Deputy CM attacked by MIM leaders it has to be seen how it will react.
