If reports are to be believed, Former Union Minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, who represented Kurnool in the Lok Sabha during early days will join Telugu Desam Party (TDP) sooner.
As per sources, Kotla felt humiliated recently during a public meeting addressed by Rahul Gandhi at Bandalapalli in Anantapur district. But Kotla was not even permitted to allowed to get on the Dias by Special Protection Group cops. Even the local Congress leaders too ignored him.
APCC President N.Raghuveera Reddy also never gave a spot of bother to console Kotla. This clearly insulted him. So as a result, he walked out of the meeting and had a meeting with his followers immediately to decide his future course of action.
He also conveyed them that it is too difficult for him to continue in Congress as the party clearly has 'Zero' future in the state. At the same time YSR Congress Party is also trying to bring Kotla into the party as he is son of former Chief Minister Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy. They understood he has some power in the district.
