Politicians promises can never be trusted any time. This is something common in Andhra Pradesh. But some of the promises which they have made are causing trouble right now. Most of the promises are just made without realizing the practical difficulties. One such was promising 'Kapus' the Backward Caste status.
Now the protests have even turned to agitation and it spoils lots of things. When getting to bottom of things, the reason for agitation was Chandrababu Naidu's electoral promise. Just for vote banks lots of promises are made and these promises in real are hard to be made.
K.Chandrasekar Rao promised 12% reservation to Muslims if Telangana becomes a reality. Venkaiah Naidu promised special status to Andhra Pradesh for more than ten years. Chandrababu Naidu promised special reservation to Kapus. In these promises, Venkaiah Naidu faces trouble from the 14th Finance commission.
They are against it. This was a body not even in existence when he made the promise. So now the question is, where these people not even aware of these difficulties when they make these promises ?
