So finally after GHMC elections as expected Hyderabad City Congress president Danam Nagender resigned from Congress party post. He said he takes the moral responsibility for the party's debacle in GHMC elections. Congress made its worst every performance by winning just 2 seats.
And interestingly, Danam also praised Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao and IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao for this huge victory. So this is a clear indication that he wants to join TRS again. But he also said he will serve congress party as an activist alone.
Danam who was close to join TRS in December 2015 dropped the plans at the last minute as KCR never welcomed him. So Danam announced that he would continue to remain in Congress but the party high command did not trust him and confined him to only his Khairatabad constituency without giving any powers.
He was just waiting for the right time to walk out and now came the perfect moment. Now we should wait and see whether KCR and KTR re interested in taking him.
