The shocking defeat in GHMC polls has caused more ripples in Telugu Desam Party. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is completely baffled with this drastic loss. Chandrababu could have at least gave a tough competition if he would have avoided these two issues.
The first is Telangana agitation. When K.Chandrasekar Rao was not in TDP cabinet, he started Telangana Agitation. Later he sent his party members to pacify KCR. But it was too late by then and the rest is history. Apparently, Chandrababu has not learned anything from this experience.
The Kapus agitation is another major concern. Chandrababu Naidu's promise for BC status for Kapus is another big blow. Twice after bifurcation, Mudragadda Padmanabham wrote to Chandrababu over the Kapu reservation issue but there was no response.
Now the ratings of TDP are at rock bottom and now the party needs a miracle to bounce back. Chandrababu Naidu is right now discussing with party members to bounce back with some new strategies. Meanwhile TRS is enjoying the down fall of TDP.
