Kapu Leader Mudragada Padmanabham and his spouse continues their indefinite fasting for demanding reservation for their community in education and jobs in Andhra Pradesh. Mudragada Padmanabham and his spouse Padmavati were fasting at their residence at Kirlampudi in East Godavari district since Friday.
They locked themselves up and they even refused to undergo medical check up. Joint Collector Sathyanarayana and District Superintendent of Police Ravi Prakash came with a team of doctors to his residence. But they sent them back. The officers are still making their attempts to reach him.
However Mudragada Padmanabham said they don't need check up as he and his wife already decided to dedicate their lives for the Kapu community. He also warned police from visiting his residence.
But still, Police and Paramilitary forces were deployed near the house. It is expected that the couple may be shifted to some hospital soon to break their fasting. Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu also appealed to Mudragada to call of the fasting.
