The Congress party has been accusing the ruling TRS of having fully tampered with the electronic voting machines in the recently held GHMC polls enabling the pink party to score a grand margin and also a comfortable victory.
The Congress is questioning KTR as to how could he repeatedly say with such confidence that they will win more than 100 seats. The NOTA option was reportedly removed from the voting machines by the state election commission.
This implies that the voting public would have definitely chosen a candidate from those available list of options. The Congress is now being joined by other parties too regarding the issue of tampering with EVM’s as many candidates didn’t even get votes polled by their family members.
The election commission was already in the dock prior to the GHMC polls when many of the Seemandhra voters were apparently removed from the voter list. Opposition parties allege that just like how TRS indulged in phone tapping and only admitted later, they might have done this one too!
