The threat of Zika Virus is slowly expanding and now China has confirmed its first case of Zika virus. A man who recently travelled to South America returned back with Zika Virus. Official Xinhua News agency reported the news. The virus which caused international alarm is spreading rapid throughout.
The Chinese who was detected with Zika was said to be 34 years old and he is from eastern province of Jiangxi. Chinese Health authorities downplayed the risk of the mosquito-borne virus spreading because of the winter cold. The victim is right now being quarantined at a hospital in his hometown.
He has been hospitalized since February 6th as per reports. As per medical reports, the person is recovering with normal body temperature and a fading rash. Brazil is said to be the worst affected country.
World Health Organization declared an international health emergency on February 1st. Infected people are showing no symptoms except Fever and skin rashes. Sources said that the infected Chinese man travelled to Venezuela and he showed symptoms of Fever and Headache.
