If KCR has his way, then a major jolt may be in the offing for the Telangana unit of TDP. Sources say that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti is all set to come up with a new plan to eliminate every trace of TDP in Telangana.
Already TRS has merged TDP within itself in Telangana Council by making use of a loophole in Constitution. They ensured that a majority of TDP MLCs shift loyalties to TRS and then merged TDP into the TRS in the council.
TRS is now all set to tread the same path in Telangana Assembly too. With the joining of Vivek Goud, the MLA of Qutbullapur, in total around Seven TDP MLAs have now formally joined TRS. TRS leaders are already in talks with two more MLAs from GHMC area of the yellow party.
KCR reportedly wants to make these majority MLAs formally merge their party into the TRS. In this manner, TRS can also evade avoid heading for by-elections in these defected MLAs seats. However this issue might become huge controversy and earn more disrepute for KCR.
