With censorship spoiling the movie industry, now film makers are looking to release movies on YouTube and other internet sites. They do not create hurdles and hamper their freedom. Censor board recently pokes their nose in movie industry and lots of scenes are being chopped.
Film makers are under severe threat as they have to make lots of compromises. Now Film maker Ram Gopal Varma has announced a movie titled 'Single X' and he has challenged censor board.
He said that the movie will release on his Official YouTube channel. But it's not just Ram Gopal Varma who is thinking in same lines. Most of the film makers realize this and they are planning to have internet releases. As per film industry sources lots of producers also feel this as safe bet.
Under the revenue model, YouTube pays a certain amount of money if the views are more than 10,000. This amount increases if the number of views cross one lakh. Money will be generated from the advertisements which are hosted. A film maker can easily make 5 lakhs if he has content with 1 lakh views.
