People of Andhra Pradesh should come to a mind set that special status of Andhra Pradesh is just going to be a distant dream for them. As per sources, Niti Aayog has approved a tentative special package for Andhra Pradesh. Even Modi has conveyed the same to Naidu regarding the special category status.
But still now Chandrababu Naidu is making false promises to people regarding the special status. Opposite parties lash out at Naidu for enacting high profile drama on special status.
An opposition leader said, "Chief Minister presenting memorandum at Delhi seeking special category status and implementation of other assurances given at the time of bifurcation of the State shows that a new drama is being enacted. If the special status is being announced, it should be honest and it has to be announced by the central Government.
And if Chandrababu Naidu is really committed, TDP should withdraw its ministers from the central ministry. But so far none of them is happening and people should stop believing the false promises."
