Are you one of those motorist in Hyderabad who prefer talk on mobile while driving and jump red signals ? Do you carry excess passengers on your two wheeler and do you ride at over speed ? Then get ready as your driving license will be suspended for three months.
The rule has been implemented by last week itself. Hyderabad traffic police and transport department implemented the rule and there has been lots of vehicles trapped in past one week. Transport Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Sultania and Additional Commissioner of police (Traffic) Jitenderon had a joint press conference and they said that the decision was taken with response to Supreme Court order.
Supreme Court asked to ensure safety of motorists on road. The committee also directed to take stern action against people who do over speeding, drunken driving, signal crossing, use of mobile phones while driving and over loading of goods/ passengers.
And if the person is found driving two wheeler during suspension period, he will be prosecuted by filing charge sheets U/s 182 of M.V Act and imprisonment would be sought from the courts.
