We already reported that most of the schools are demanding huge amount of school fees from the students. Now parents have protested against lots of irregularities and hike in school fees. This happened at Ravindra Bharathi Global School, Keelkattalai.
Parents gathered in huge numbers and they demanded corrective measures. Members of Students-Parents welfare association said that the school collects fees in huge way and the facilities are worst. As per the association, the school collects fees of Rs.70,000 to 90,000 for classes from Pre KG to Std.X.
R.Gopal who is the secretary of the association said, "The school never provides proper receipts for any fee which is being paid. School has also never returned the excess fee collected. They have just demanded more and more.
School is also reluctant to hear the demands with respect to improving facilities and safety measures. We also heard that the building was not given the required certification from the tahsildar. The school also has lack of qualified teachers and there is no proper laboratory or library for students."
