Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has directly lashed out at former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Jaitley who wrote in his blog said, "I am sure Manmohan Singh would analyse the present government. He would really realize India has a Government where the Prime Minister has the last word.
Lots of natural resources were allocated without corruption. All the process were transparent. Everything is clear and there are no sadistic or corrupt considerations." During Congress regime, Jaitley has targeted Manmohan singh for being second fiddle to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
This response came from Jaitley with respect to Manmohan Singh's interview to Weekly India Today magazine. Manmohan said, Modi and Government were not doing enough to reach out to the opposition or to stir the country's economy.
Jaitley also wrote, "Former Presidents and Prime Ministers rarely speak, but when they do, the nation should listen to them with rapt attention.. What he did was not even constructive criticism. Economist like Manmohan singh should advice his party for their own welfare."
