It is a known fact that Errabelli Dayakar Rao won the trust of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and hence he could monopolize the party while also competing with Revanth for party affairs in the Telangana unit of TDP.
Now the war has heated up with Errabelli writing to Telangana speaker for the merger of TDLP into TRSLP, and with this the rivalry between him and firebrand leader Revanth Reddy has now reached new heights.
Revanth Reddy who is the newly elected Floor Leader of TDP has reportedly removed Errabelli’s photo from the Party’s LP office in Assembly and also locked the office. However Errabelli who came there has reportedly claimed that this office belongs to them as the majority MLAs are on his side.
Errabelli’s men reportedly tried to lock the office and now the issue can only be resolved finally by the Speaker. Nearly 10 TDP MLAs have already shifted their loyality to the TRS. They are working hard to evade the anti-defection law by ensuring that they emrge TDLP to TRSLP. However the issue is expected to land in courts now.
But this is also a golden opportunity wherein if Babu can plan properly, entire new generation of leaders can be created in the region just like how it started in 1982-83. Although it may take time, there should be focus towards inviting youth from all sections, especially the weaker castes to build a formidable force in next one
decade.
