On one side, Chandrababu Naidu said strict action will be taken on those who are indulging in Call Money scam. But on other hand, there are lots of victims who fall prety to this call money racket scam. Three women tried to commit suicide after they got tormented by a money lender. The incident took place in Guntur district.
However Police immediately jumped into action and they foiled their bid. Dasari Venkateswaramma, her sister Rajani and daughter Lakshmi tried to pour kerosene and attempted to torch themselves.
But cops were alerted by neighbours and they rushed to spot immediately and they stopped women from committing suicide. Venkateswaramma conveyed her woes to the Police men. Venkateswaramma also said to police men that she just weaves baksets and she borrowed a sum of Rs.1.55 Lakhs from a moneylender to meet her personal expenses.
She also said that she is paying all her installments regularly despite the interest rate is higher. But the Moneylender went to court stating that she owed him Rs.7 lakhs.
