From the time the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh has happened, the worst hit are the employees of the Secretariat especially those who are now compelled to leave Hyderabad and shift to Vijayawada. They had been contending on the lack of infrastructure and amenities for a while.
The operations happening from Hyderabad has also led to confusion and challenges for the AP administration. From their end, the employees were doing their best to stay in Hyderabad but it appears there is no respite for them. As targeted, June 2016 is most likely the deadline.
CM Chandrababu Naidu has laid the foundation for the temporary secretariat premises in Velagapudi village near Guntur. This project is going to take off on war footing with L & T and Shapoorji Pallonji joining hands. The deadline for them is just four months.
A total of 6 lakh sft would be constructed across 45 acres of land and given the professional standards of both the companies, this deadline will certainly be met. This would mean the secretariat employees of Andhra Pradesh must prepare to pack their bags and leave soon.
