Tennis Star Sania Mirza has came to Coimbatore to start a Sports event. She met press people soon after completing the proceedings. She said, "This is not the first time, I am coming to Coimbatore. I have came here 15 years back to participate in a Junior Championship event.
Now it is good to be back again. It's good to see the city as a developed one. The people are celebrating my arrival. I am happy with my success ration in sports field. I have won last 3 grand slam events in Tennis. I am immediately moving to USA to participate in US Open Tennis Championship.
I am striving hard to win that. To play 'Doubles' one must have a good chemistry with the partner. Initially we never had it. But now we are mutual. It is good to see that Sports Ministry is giving importance to Women's Sports.
Not just Women's Cricket, but also Women's Tennis, Boxing were given equal importance. Fitness is a crucial factor for a Sports woman. Hitting gym and doing work outs is essential for a Sports woman. Also Win or Lose should be taken on a happy note. That is also essential."
