Even after massive steps taken by the government, the city two wheelers and three-wheelers are found caught for dumping people into the auto rickshaws and driving two wheelers without helmets is more prevalent among the city people in the IT Park surrounding areas.


The call taxis, cabs and share autos have regular routes from Cyber Towers to Jubilee Hills Check Post and Cyber Towers to Gachibowli. As the public transport services are limited in the areas, the share autos and taxi’s numbers have increased considerably. The share auto drivers charge Rs.10 for a short distance and dump many passengers into the vehicle.


The Cyberabad Traffic Police have given a survey that around 25,602 motorists are caught red handed without helmets last month and a fine amount of Rs. 33, 94,400 has been collected. On March 3rd alone around 1380 cases were booked for not wearing helmets and 87 were charged for over loading.


The Cyberabad Traffic Police have said traffics policemen are lesser in number to regulate the traffic. Divya Charan Rao, additional DCP has said that strict punishments are enforced for regular offenders and she also added that when the regular offenders continue the same, they may be even jailed and their license will be suspended.
