In Hyderabad, there is already severe crisis in parking space. Most of the time, we can see motorists dumping vehicles one behind another or parking in any space where they can. This has no limits and most of them even park their vehicles in 'No Parking' spaces.
But here after you need to be careful with parking spaces. If you are going to park your vehicle in 'No Parking' area, you may have to face jail. Hyderabad Traffic Police has decided to tighten the screws to control the offenders.
As per the latest norm, any motorist found parking in 'No Parking' zone or parking 'dangerously' or 'obstructively' more than three times in a row will be dragged to court and the offender will be thrown behind bars. The Additional commissioner of Traffic Police Jitender has taken this step due to haphazard parking.
He said, "We decided to enforce stern laws as road users must get over the fact that they can park anywhere they wish. We also see to the fact that who driver in over-speed will face more trouble. Also other troubles such as cellphone driving and jumping signals will be charged severely."
