As per the latest news the SSLC board examination commences today all over the state and nearly 26,511 students are appearing for the board exams in Kanyakumari district in 108 centers. Reportedly it was said the exams will end up on April13th.
The total numbers of students who are appearing for the SSLC examinations in three education districts are given below. At Nagercoil around 8636 students are appearing, at Thuckalay around 9482 and in Kuzhithurai around 8393 students are appearing for the exams. 43 flying squads and 200 surveillance teams are formed.
Thirty scribes will pen for the visually challenged students and dyslexia students and eight differently able students will also write the exams and they will be given an extra one hour for the examination. Around 56 centers are arranged in Thoothukudi and 31 centers at Kovilpatti.
The CEO Swaminathan said in Tirunelveli a total of 47,133 will appear for the exams which include 23,240 boys and 23,893 girls. As far as Tirunelveli district is concerned 16,551 are appearing and in Cheranmahadevi nearly 15,298 are appearing for the SSLC exams. The CEO has said nearly 149 exam centers are organized 27 standing squads and 10 flying squads are organized for the conduct of the exams.
